The month of December has been a busy month for the IRPWA with a series of events held in both the 6 and 26 counties. The highlights of the month so far have been the Christmas party held in Belfast for the children and grandchildren of Republican Prisoners, and the Christmas vigils held in Belfast

Republican Political Prisoners wish to set out clearly our position on the Stocktake recently undertaken and released by David Ford’s Independent Assessment Team. The Stocktake was a unique opportunity to re-engage the implementation process of the August 2010 Agreement, and to deal with the unacceptable isolation of Republican Political Prisoners.
